The BSA for Order Management will support and evolve Deckers global business capabilities in the functional area of order management. He/she will liaise with business partners to support the company’s strategic goals of delivering growth, increasing speed-to-market, and driving an engaging omni-channel consumer experience.
The position will be involved in the company’s dynamic evolution of its end-to-end supply chain, order management and fulfillment processes and systems that support Deckers omni-channel business model. Continuous application system improvements will align with the Company’s strategic imperatives of speed-to-market, inventory management, and consumer engagement.
Systems Analysis: Collaborate with business partners (i.e. Customer experience/logistics/3PL/planning) to identify new opportunities, gaps and additional needed functionality to improve business process, maximize efficiency and cost savings. Requirements gathering & analyzing, function design (in collaboration with Global IT teams) to drive the development and delivery of new functions/system to support business. This will include EBS as well as 3rd party order management fulfillment / full cycle of supply chain (including demand planning, supply planning)/ distribution/ inventory management and other related functions.Ensure the business requirements are properly captured by IT team in his/her area.
Basic Project Management: Defining projects plans and schedules to deliver the solutions identified above and using Deckers project management methodologies, secure the appropriate resources to deliver the projects. Work with Regional & Global IT resources, and/ or selected vendors to ensure that projects stay on track and drive to completion.
Routine System Support: Able to analyze problems and provide coherent solutions to both users and management. Work with internal and external IT team (Global IT team & vendors) to define solutions, create spec documents, define workarounds, test and implement actions to resolve problems. This will include the ability to troubleshoot all the application related issues for order management/supply chain/3PL as well as demand planning & supply planning.
Basic Vendor Management: Manage service delivery from the 3rd parties (internal & external). Deckers has vendor teams to provide support/development. He/She will work closely with vendor teams, to make sure they can deliver the service within aligned scope/SLA and meet user expectations. Vendor management routines like ticket review and SLA review is required. As a part of these routines, he/she needs to initiate service improvements suggestions and influence the vendor teams to make it happen.
Degree in Information Technology, Business or similar field of study. Oracle certification preferred.
Subject matter experience in Oracle EBS Order Management, Shipping and Inventory modules
Experience in translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations
Has good understanding of Oracle’s ERP system, table relationships, and underlying data flows.
5+ years of overall experience in Supply Chain:
4+ years in Oracle EBS Order To Cash
2+years’ experience in Supply Chain modules such as Inventory, Purchasing and Shipping
Minimum 3 years PL/SQL programming experience
Strong techno-functional skills in Oracle Order to Cash processes
Good knowledge of Oracle Database concepts, PL/SQL programming and application performance issues/solutions.
Good technical troubleshooting capabilities including ability to debug procedures and packages
Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Experience in developing or modifying interfaces
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Prior experience in using ITIL compliant support and quality tools such as, Service Now, HP Quality Center and Quest STAT etc. will be a plus
Any experience with Oracle SOA platform will be huge plus
