Halsell Builders is looking for a Carpenter who is very efficient in all areas of general labor including, but not limited to; demolition techniques, trenching, hauling and all kinds of digging and clean up. Responsible for accurate and precise measurement for all construction on projects. Must be able to accurately and precisely use a circular saw.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Accurate and precise measurements and readings
2. Usage of multiple power tools as well as machinery
3. Understanding of Safety on all job sites and will comply with all regulations
4. Ability to assist any co-worker with certain tasks and requests
Skills Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Able to operate the following pieces of machinery and power equipment:
- Skill Saw
- Reciprocating Saw
- Cordless drill kit and Corded Drill
- Miter Saw
- Compressor
- nail guns (finish and framing)
- Table Saw
- Router
- Air Hoses and Heavy Gauge Cords
- Advanced set of Chisels, Hand tools and Drill bits
- Small grinder
- Palm/Belt Sander(s)
- Planer
- Jointer
- Air Tool Kit(s)
- Socket Set(s)
- Ability to frame walls and floors
- All basic trimming skills without supervision
- Proactive, flexible, team player who is comfortable working in a small company environment

Able to pass a pre-employment physical and have a clean drug screen. Clean and valid driver’s license. Background check will be run prior to employment.
