JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ready Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the Batch Plant to the job site in a safe manner. Driver will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. Daily pre-trip inspections. Load material at batch plant. Spray down drum prior to leaving plant. Deliver concrete to highway and other construction sites. Sometimes at night. Properly position chutes. Wash out drum and spray down truck. Daily post-trip inspections.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Requirements/Qualifications: Class A/B license with tank endorsement. Clean DMV record. Must be able to work nights or weekends when needed. Fill out required paperwork completely and accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors on site. Must adhere to all safety regulations. Must adhere to DOT requirements. Must be flexible in work location. Preferred: Experience in ready mix or heavy construction industries. 2+ years commercial driving experience.
